Cottage Cheese Chicken Parm Bowl

A creamy and protein-rich chicken parm bowl featuring crispy chicken, rich marinara, and cottage cheese for a comforting weeknight meal.

  • 4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
  3. In a bowl, beat the egg, then coat each chicken breast in the egg.
  4. Dredge the chicken in breadcrumbs until fully covered.
  5. Place the breaded chicken on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
  7. Remove the chicken and layer with marinara sauce, cottage cheese, and mozzarella.
  8. Return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Serve over pasta or steamed veggies.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider using panko breadcrumbs. You can also mix fresh basil or red pepper flakes with the marinara for added flavor.
