Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars

Delightful bars featuring a creamy cheesecake filling topped with tender apples and a swirl of caramel.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups peeled and sliced apples
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a rectangular baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until it resembles wet sand. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, blending well between additions. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in sliced apples and cinnamon gently until coated.
  5. Pour cheesecake mixture over the crust, spreading evenly. Drizzle caramel sauce on top and swirl lightly with a knife.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes until the edge is set and the center has a gentle jiggle. Let cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

For extra flavor, bake the graham cracker crust for 5-7 minutes before adding the filling. Use a mix of tart and sweet apples for best results.
