Chicken Pesto Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (such as fusilli or penne)
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup homemade basil pesto
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup diced cucumbers
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and Parmesan cheese.
  2. Add the basil pesto and mix until everything is well coated.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
