A Cozy Tater Tot Casserole

A comforting tater tot casserole filled with savory beef and melted cheese, topped with crispy tater tots.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package frozen tater tots
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a baking dish.
  5. Layer the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef.
  6. Top with frozen tater tots, spreading them evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until tater tots are golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
