Crispy Rice Peanut Butter Treats

A delightful balance of crunchy and chewy, these Crispy Rice Peanut Butter Treats are perfect for any occasion and are quick and easy to make.

  • 3 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and mini marshmallows together, stirring until smooth.
  2. Add in the peanut butter and mix until fully integrated.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the crispy rice cereal until fully coated.
  4. If desired, fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Press the mixture into a greased 9×9 inch baking dish.
  6. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and enjoy.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to three days at room temperature or a week in the fridge. Freeze for longer storage.
