No-Bake Oreo Bat Cookies

Delightful and spooky No-Bake Oreo Bat Cookies, perfect for Halloween gatherings and family night fun.

  • 18 Oreo Double Stuf sandwich cookies
  • 1 cup chocolate melting wafers or chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 24 candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Carefully twist apart six Oreo cookies and discard the filling. Break each cookie in half to form a total of 24 wings.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
  3. In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine the melting wafers and vegetable oil. Microwave according to package directions, or microwave chocolate chips in 30-second increments, stirring between each increment until smooth.
  4. Dip the flat side of each of the remaining whole 12 Oreo cookies in the melted chocolate, being careful not to coat the cream center.
  5. Arrange the coated Oreo cookies on the baking sheet. While the chocolate is still wet, place two candy eyes on each cookie to create the bat’s eyes.
  6. Once the cookies have set completely, gently insert two bat wings into the cream portion of each Oreo cookie.

Notes

For easier dipping, use a fork or toothpick. Store in an airtight container for up to five days.
