Easy Canned Salmon Patties

Quick and delicious salmon patties made from canned salmon, perfect for a nutritious family meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of salmon, drained
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained salmon, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, parsley, egg, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into patties, about 2 to 3 inches in diameter.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat to coat the bottom of the pan.
  4. Fry the patties until golden brown, about 4 to 5 minutes per side.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

You can prepare the mixture a day in advance. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat in a skillet for best texture.
