- 8 hot dogs
- 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard, or as needed
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Place the hot dogs in a saucepan, covering them with water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Lower the heat to medium-low and let them simmer until warmed through, about 5 minutes. Drain and pat dry.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 strips. Wrap each hot dog in a strip, leaving gaps for the mummy look. Add mustard for eyes.
- Place the wrapped hot dogs on a baking sheet and bake until golden brown and flaky, about 10 minutes.
Notes
For extra puffy mummies, add a bit of cheese before wrapping. Mini hot dogs can be used for a fun twist.
