Hot Dog Mummies

Fun and spooky Hot Dog Mummies are perfect for Halloween gatherings, combining delicious hot dogs with flaky crescent rolls.

Ingredients

  • 8 hot dogs
  • 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard, or as needed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Place the hot dogs in a saucepan, covering them with water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Lower the heat to medium-low and let them simmer until warmed through, about 5 minutes. Drain and pat dry.
  4. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 strips. Wrap each hot dog in a strip, leaving gaps for the mummy look. Add mustard for eyes.
  5. Place the wrapped hot dogs on a baking sheet and bake until golden brown and flaky, about 10 minutes.

Notes

For extra puffy mummies, add a bit of cheese before wrapping. Mini hot dogs can be used for a fun twist.
