Mini Christmas Trifles

Delightful mini Christmas trifles featuring layers of vanilla cake, creamy custard, and mixed berries, perfect for festive gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla or pound cake (pre-baked or store-bought)
  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla custard or pudding
  • 1 cup whipped cream (plus extra for topping)
  • 1 1/2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (optional)
  • 1/4 cup pistachios (chopped, for garnish)
  • Red and green sprinkles
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the vanilla cake into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In individual cups or bowls, layer the cake cubes with creamy custard and a sprinkle of mixed berries.
  3. Continue layering until the cups are full and finish with a layer of custard and berries on top.
  4. Top each trifle with whipped cream, chopped pistachios, and sprinkles.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Assemble ingredients on the day of serving for optimal freshness.
