  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Steamed rice, for serving
  • A green vegetable or cucumber salad, for sides

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic until combined.
  2. Add the shrimp to the bowl, ensuring every piece is coated in the glaze. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  4. If necessary, remove shrimp to a serving dish, then reduce the leftover marinade in the skillet until it thickens. Pour over shrimp before serving.
  5. Serve with steamed rice and a fresh salad for a complete meal.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding red pepper flakes to the sauce. Ensure to marinate the shrimp for the best results.
