  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, sugar, eggs, oil, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add these dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. For the glaze, mix the powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth and drizzle over the cooled cake.
