One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta

A quick and comforting one pot pasta dish featuring creamy garlic flavors, perfect for busy weekdays or cozy weekends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces short pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • 1 cup whole milk (or plant-based alternative)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot or skillet, heat the olive oil or butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the pasta and enough water (or broth) to cover it. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer.
  4. Cook until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid is absorbed, about 10-12 minutes.
  5. Stir in the milk and Parmesan cheese until creamy. Adjust consistency with more milk if needed.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Add cooked chicken or shrimp for a heartier meal. For extra creaminess, use freshly grated Parmesan.
