Quick and Easy Dirt Cups

These charming Dirt Cups are quick, fun, and a delightful treat for the whole family, combining creamy chocolate pudding, crushed cookies, and whipped topping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (4-ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 (8-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (16-ounce) package chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients and get ready to create some kitchen magic!
  2. In a large bowl, whisk the cold milk and pudding mix together for about 2 minutes. Let it sit for approximately 5 minutes until thickened.
  3. Gently stir the whipped topping and half of the crushed cookies into the pudding mixture, making it all light and fluffy.
  4. Start assembling your cups by spooning 1 tablespoon of crushed cookies into the bottom of each of eight small glasses or ramekins, followed by a generous layer of pudding, filling them about 3/4 full.
  5. Top each cup with the remaining crushed cookies for that classic dirt look.
  6. Chill them in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to let the flavors meld together beautifully.

Notes

You can add toppings like gummy worms or strawberries for an extra fun twist. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for about 2 days.
