Simple Lemon Herb Chicken Dinner

A quick and delicious lemon herb chicken recipe that packs refreshing flavors, perfect for family dinners.

  • 2 (5-ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 medium lemon, juiced, divided
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pinch dried oregano
  • 2 sprigs fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken in a bowl and pour half of the lemon juice over it. Sprinkle with salt.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-low heat. Add chicken and pour in remaining lemon juice and oregano. Season with black pepper.
  3. Cook chicken for 5 to 10 minutes per side until golden brown and juices run clear, reaching a safe internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  4. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
