Starbucks Cake Pops

Delightful and easy-to-make cake pops that bring the warmth of home with every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 1 cup frosting (your favorite flavor)
  • 12 cups melted candy coating (white, milk, or dark chocolate)
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vanilla cake mix according to the package instructions and bake it. Allow the cake to cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into a large mixing bowl until it resembles fine crumbs.
  3. Mix in the frosting, folding gently until a sticky dough forms.
  4. Form small balls (about the size of a tablespoon) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Pop the baking sheet into the freezer for about 30 minutes until the cake balls are firm.
  6. Melt your candy coating in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  7. Dip the end of each lollipop stick into the melted candy coating and insert it into the center of each cake ball.
  8. Dip each cake pop into the melted coating, rotating it to catch every angle, and allow excess chocolate to drip off.
  9. Let the cake pops set on wax paper or in a foam block for display.

Notes

Use gel food coloring for vibrant colors and mix in mini chocolate chips for added texture.
