Witches’ Brew Swirl Cheesecake

Delightful Witches’ Brew Swirl Cheesecakes bursting with flavor and a splash of spooky fun, perfect for Halloween gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 blocks cream cheese (8 oz each), softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Gel food coloring (purple, green, black)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F. Prepare your springform pan by lining the bottom with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, blend in the sour cream and vanilla extract.
  4. Divide the cheesecake batter evenly into three bowls. Add a different gel food coloring to each bowl: one for purple, one for green, and one for black.
  5. Pour alternating spoonfuls of the colored batter onto the crust in the prepared pan. Use a knife to gently swirl the colors together.
  6. Place the springform pan in a larger baking dish. Pour hot water into the dish to create a water bath. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggles.
  7. Once baked, turn off the oven, crack open the door, and let the cheesecake cool inside for about an hour. Chill it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
  8. Slice and serve, garnishing with Halloween decorations.

Notes

For best results, ensure cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing. Use a water bath to prevent cracks in your cheesecake.
