Amanda Miller

Hi, I’m Amanda — the heart behind Any Time Recipes.

The Best Recipes

Cooking wasn’t always my happy place. For years, I saw it as another item on the to-do list, something squeezed between work emails, kids’ schedules, and late-night laundry. But one evening, while trying to stretch what was left in my fridge into dinner, something shifted.

That impromptu mix of rice, eggs, and spinach turned out shockingly delicious. My family smiled. The kitchen smelled like home again. That’s when I realized: good food isn’t about perfection, it’s about connection.

How Any Time Recipes Was Born

That small win led to a big idea. I wanted to create a space where real people, not professional chefs, not influencers, could find joy and ease in cooking again.

So I began writing and testing recipes that anyone could make. Meals that didn’t need fancy ingredients or hours of prep. Dinners that worked on weeknights, breakfasts that made mornings better, and desserts that reminded us why food brings people together.

What started as a side project became Any Time Recipes — a home for approachable, everyday cooking that actually fits modern life.

My Philosophy

Cooking should be flexible, not frustrating. I don’t believe in “perfect” plating or ten-step meals. Instead, I believe in:

  • Real ingredients you can find anywhere
  • Honest cooking times (no fake “10-minute” miracles)
  • Flavor first, always

Each recipe I publish goes through a simple test: Would I make this again on a busy Tuesday night?
If the answer is no, it doesn’t make the site.

A Few Fun Facts

  • I’m a strong believer that breakfast-for-dinner fixes almost anything.
  • My favorite kitchen tool is a cast-iron skillet that’s older than me.
  • I test every recipe at least twice, sometimes three times, before it goes live.
