Description

A deliciously simple garlic parmesan pasta dish made in one pot, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz spaghetti or pasta of choice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: cooked steak, chicken, shrimp, or vegetables

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add the pasta and broth to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and has absorbed most of the broth (about 10-12 minutes).
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. If desired, add cooked steak, chicken, seafood, or vegetables to the pasta and mix well.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy the leftovers for lunch!

Notes

Be careful not to burn the garlic, as it can turn bitter. Adjust cooking times for gluten-free pasta and try different cheeses for variety.
