Description
A deliciously simple garlic parmesan pasta dish made in one pot, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz spaghetti or pasta of choice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: cooked steak, chicken, shrimp, or vegetables
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the pasta and broth to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and has absorbed most of the broth (about 10-12 minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- If desired, add cooked steak, chicken, seafood, or vegetables to the pasta and mix well.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the leftovers for lunch!
Notes
Be careful not to burn the garlic, as it can turn bitter. Adjust cooking times for gluten-free pasta and try different cheeses for variety.
