- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 1 cup cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package refrigerated pie crusts or puff pastry
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the cooked chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl until well mixed.
- Roll out the pie crusts or puff pastry and fit one into a greased casserole dish.
- Pour the chicken mixture into the casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
- Cover with the second pie crust or puff pastry, sealing the edges and cutting slits in the top for steam to escape.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Make sure to mix the filling thoroughly for balanced flavors. You can substitute mixed vegetables based on your preference.
