A quick and creamy chicken pasta dish, perfect for busy weeknights, that combines tender chicken, pasta, and a rich sauce made with heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.

- 1 lb Chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 8 oz Pasta (any kind), such as penne or fettuccine
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 2 cups Spinach (optional)
- 1 cup Mushrooms (optional, sliced)
- 1 cup Tomatoes (optional, diced)
- 4 slices Bacon (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the chicken over medium heat until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in heavy cream, allowing it to simmer gently until it thickens slightly, around 2-3 minutes.
- Incorporate the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly.
- If using, stir in spinach, mushrooms, and/or tomatoes, allowing them to wilt and warm through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Notes
Be careful not to overcook the chicken or pasta. Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best texture.
