Description

A quick and creamy chicken pasta dish, perfect for busy weeknights, that combines tender chicken, pasta, and a rich sauce made with heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 oz Pasta (any kind), such as penne or fettuccine
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 2 cups Spinach (optional)
  • 1 cup Mushrooms (optional, sliced)
  • 1 cup Tomatoes (optional, diced)
  • 4 slices Bacon (optional)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the chicken over medium heat until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes.
  2. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Stir in heavy cream, allowing it to simmer gently until it thickens slightly, around 2-3 minutes.
  4. Incorporate the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly.
  6. If using, stir in spinach, mushrooms, and/or tomatoes, allowing them to wilt and warm through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

Be careful not to overcook the chicken or pasta. Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best texture.
