Description

A creamy one-pot pasta dish simmered in milk and topped with Parmesan cheese for a rich flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g pasta
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a little olive oil in a large pot over medium heat until it shimmers slightly.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Combine the pasta and milk in the pot, stirring to mix evenly.
  4. Bring to a simmer and cook until the pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally for about 10-12 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Using good quality olive oil enhances the flavor. You can substitute half of the milk with chicken broth for a different twist.
