- 200g pasta
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a little olive oil in a large pot over medium heat until it shimmers slightly.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Combine the pasta and milk in the pot, stirring to mix evenly.
- Bring to a simmer and cook until the pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally for about 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Using good quality olive oil enhances the flavor. You can substitute half of the milk with chicken broth for a different twist.
