One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta

A simple stovetop dish that creates a rich, creamy sauce while cooking, making it perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 8 oz pasta (your choice of shape, like fettuccine or penne)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk (whole or low-fat)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat until it foams lightly.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant and golden.
  3. Add pasta and milk, stirring to combine; bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until the pasta is tender and the milk has reduced slightly.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until it melts into the sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes
