Description

A quick and comforting meal featuring chicken and linguine coated in a rich, creamy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside, keeping a small amount of pasta water for later.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced chicken, seasoning it with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese until fully melted and the sauce is creamy.
  6. Toss the cooked linguine in the skillet with the sauce. If too thick, add reserved pasta water to reach the desired consistency.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
