A baked chicken dish with a crunchy crust and creamy garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

- 4 pieces of boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup (100 g) of finely grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup (120 g) of breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup (240 ml) of heavy cream
- 2 tbsp of olive oil or butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place chicken breasts between plastic wrap and pound to an even 1-inch thickness.
- Season both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Set up a breading station: beat the eggs in one bowl, and mix the breadcrumbs and Parmesan in another.
- Dip each chicken piece in the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing firmly.
- Arrange the breaded chicken on a greased baking sheet, spacing apart for even cooking.
- Bake chicken for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- For extra crispiness, broil the chicken for 2-3 minutes at the end.
- Melt butter or heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Sauté minced garlic until fragrant and golden, about 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Season the garlic sauce with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality chicken and fresh garlic. Leftovers can be repurposed in salads, pasta dishes, or sandwiches.
