Description

A reliable and stress-free dish that ensures juicy turkey breast infused with aromatic herbs and broth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 turkey breast (68 pounds)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Herbs (such as thyme, rosemary, and sage)
  • Olive oil or butter for rubbing

Instructions

  1. Rub the turkey breast with olive oil or butter, then season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
  2. Place the chopped onion and minced garlic in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Pour the chicken broth over the onions.
  4. Place the seasoned turkey breast on top of the onions in the crockpot.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the turkey is cooked through and tender.
  6. Remove the turkey from the crockpot and let it rest before slicing.
  7. Serve with your choice of sides.

Notes

Pat the turkey dry before rubbing with oil or butter for a better crust. Marinating the turkey in herbs and broth overnight enhances flavor. Keep the skin on for moisture retention.
