A reliable and stress-free dish that ensures juicy turkey breast infused with aromatic herbs and broth.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 turkey breast (6–8 pounds)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Herbs (such as thyme, rosemary, and sage)
- Olive oil or butter for rubbing
Instructions
- Rub the turkey breast with olive oil or butter, then season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Place the chopped onion and minced garlic in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Pour the chicken broth over the onions.
- Place the seasoned turkey breast on top of the onions in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the turkey is cooked through and tender.
- Remove the turkey from the crockpot and let it rest before slicing.
- Serve with your choice of sides.
Notes
Pat the turkey dry before rubbing with oil or butter for a better crust. Marinating the turkey in herbs and broth overnight enhances flavor. Keep the skin on for moisture retention.
