- 1 can coconut milk
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons curry powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric

- Salt, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions
- Heat some oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger, and sauté until soft, about 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in the curry powder and turmeric, cooking for another minute to bloom the spices.
- Add the sweet potatoes, coconut milk, and broth to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer until the sweet potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Season with salt to taste, enhancing all the flavors.
- Serve hot, topped with fresh cilantro, a squeeze of lime, and a dollop of yogurt for a refreshing contrast.
