Description

A practical dish for busy weeknights, featuring tender ground beef meatballs coated in a rich gravy, perfect for pairing with your favorite sides.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix lightly just until combined.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add flour to the same skillet and cook until lightly browned.
  5. Whisk in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce gradually until well combined; ensure the mixture is smooth.
  6. Bring to a simmer and return meatballs to the skillet. Cook for an additional 10–15 minutes, until meatballs are cooked through and gravy has thickened.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.

Notes

Avoid overworking the meatball mixture to prevent tough meatballs. Fresh ingredients like parsley enhance the flavor.
